Last weekend Steph and I took a trip to SYDNEY!
The well known Sydney Mardi Gras Parade was on that weekend, which of course, we attended!
We visited my auntie, Susin and her French lover Jeebayyyy at their cute little apartment in Paddington just up the road on Oxford St (where the parade is held).
Friday night we partied at the Ivy Bar... Yes, complete with their own pool lounge.And perved on the super-cute foreign speaking, suspender wearing bartender!
Saturday was Mardi-Gras day and I dressed up as a Bondi life-saver and Steph a sailor. We sneakily got ourselves invited to a Drag-queen party at someones penthouse balcony party... On Flinders Street. Where the parade ends. Awesome!!
On the way home we stopped off at a house party that literally had so many people it ran out on to the street. We stopped to have a little bit of dance-break out the front, along with many other, complete strangers! and then moved along. SO much fun! :) The next morning we topped off our Sunday Sleep-in with brunch (yum!) at a cute restaurant in Paddington. A good weekend away!
